JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of a this role is to correspond with our customers, sales representatives in a productive and timely fashion. This focused correspondence should support new customer growth and maintain current customer information for the assigned market segments. Works directly with the representatives within the assigned territory to ensure all required sales support functions are completed timely. This role is also responsible for cold calls to prospective accounts to help direct external representatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Work directly with sales representatives on sales support requirements which support both new and prospective customer opportunities.

2. Cold call prospective accounts to help outside sales representatives for greater close rates.

3. Work with the management team on process improvement projects.

4. Setup new customers in our system.

5. Create and maintain a process for onboarding new customers.

6. Keep all customer information in our primary database accurate. This will include competitive interchanges, customer SKU numbers, and customer information (including notes).

7. Ensure all deadlines are met, promotional pricing is managed, goods arrive to the show floor on time and orders are processed correctly within the sales support team.

8. Maintain our incoming call service promise answering a call within three rings and fully respond to 90% of all incoming calls within a single contact.

9. Handle all returns and defectives in a timely manner by processing them within 48 hours.

10. Train all Customer service representatives to enter correspondence into our CRM program as required.

11. Provide product knowledge, pricing and other support to customers based on training provided at time of hire.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Demonstrate flexibility to help other departments when required

2. Work with teammates and effectively multi-task workload

3. Proficient in Microsoft excel, word and power point.

4. Able to manage multiple projects at one time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
